FRANCE, Louis XV, (1715-1774), ecu d'or, 1718W, Lille mint, obv. young laureate head to right of Louis XV, rev. the cross of Saint Espirit (a Maltese cross), three lis in centre, (KM 438.18, C.2078, Dup 1633). Attractive golden peripheral tone, weak in centre of reverse, otherwise good very fine and rare.
