CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 211, Rome mint, (3.188 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG BRIT, rev. Indulgentia seated left on curule chair, holding sceptre, extending right hand, around INDVLG FECVNDAE, (S.1919, RIC 214, RSC 104). Toned, extremely fine and scarce.
