NERVA, (A.D. 96-98), silver cistophorus, Ephesus mint, issued A.D. 98, (10.770 grams), obv. laureate head of Nerva to right, around IMP NERVA CAES AVG GERM P M TR POT P P, rev. around COS IIII, legionary eagle between two standards, (cf.S.948, RIC 124, RSC 53a). Slightly off centred reverse, legend and portrait weak in places, otherwise good fine/very fine and very rare.
