AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 10-12, (11.500 grams), obv. bare head to left of Augustus around IMP CAESAR DIVI F AVGVSTVS IMP XX, rev. PONTIF MAXIM TRIBVN POT XXXIIII around large SC, (S.1689, RIC 471, C.226 variety, CBN 883). Even dark tone, good very fine and rare in this condition.
