L. FARSULEIUS MENSOR, (c.75 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.935 grams), obv. Liberty diademed and draped bust to right, S C below chin, XVIIII and cap of Liberty behind, MENSOR before, rev. Roma in biga to right assisting togate figure to mount, scorpion below, L.FARSVLEI in exergue, (S.328 [£80 VF], Cr.392/1a, Syd.789a, B. Farsuleia 1). Nearly extremely fine and rare in this condition.
