M. VOLTEIUS M.F., (c.78 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.695 grams), obv. head of Liber or Bacchus to right, wearing ivy wreath, rev. Ceres standing in chariot to right drawn by two serpents, control symbol behind, M.VOLTEI. M.F. in exergue, (S.314, Cr.385/3, Syd.776, B. Volteia 3). Very fine and very scarce.
