A. POSTUMIUS A.F.SP.N. Albinus, (c.81 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.82 grams), obv. Diana bust draped to right, bow and quiver on shoulder, bucranium above, rev. togate figure on rock standing before a lighted altar sprinkling an ox about to be sacrificed, [A. POST] A.F.S.N. ALBIN around, (S.296, Cr.372/1, Syd.745, B.Postumia 7). Serrated edge, off centred reverse, otherwise very fine/ nearly very fine and scarce.
