ATTICA, Athens, but a contemporary Palestine-Samaria Neapolis issue, silver obol, (0.788 grams), issue c.4th century -332 B.C., obv. head of Athena to right wearing ivy crested helmet, eye in profile, rev. owl standing to right, head facing, in erect posture, olive twig and crescent behind, to right, **AQE, all in incuse square, (cf.S.2541). Toned, off centred obverse, very fine and very rare.
Ex Nablus 1968 hoard (ICGH 1504).
