EGYPT, Kingdom of, Cleopatra III and Ptolemy IX, (116-107 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.346 grams), Alexandria mint, issued year 5 = 113-112 B.C., obv. head of Ptolemy I to right wearing aegis, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front LE, to right **PA*, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, (cf.S.7921, Sv.1666, SNG Cop 350). Toned, nearly very fine and scarce.
