CARIA, Island of, Rhodes, (c.230-205 B.C., silver didrachm, (6.596 grams), obv. head of Helios three-quarter face to right with hair loose, rev. rose, with bud on right, to left helmet, above **PODION*, below to left ship's stern, magistrate's name across flan, **AMEI NIAS*, (cf.S.5046 [tetradrachm], SNG Finland 543). Off centred on the obverse, good very fine and rare.
