Together with discharge certificate and pocket bible enscribed 'To dear Vic from Nilda' and 'If found please forward to Mrs C. Howard 216 Flacon St North Sydney NSW'. It has been stated that Pte Howard was the uncle of Mr J.W. Howard MP, Prime Minister of Australia.
