A. POSTUMIUS A.F.SP.N. Albinus, (c.81 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.878 grams), obv. Diana bust draped to right, bow and quiver on shoulder, bucranium above, rev. togate figure on rock standing before a lighted altar sprinkling an ox about to be sacrificed, A. P[OST A.F.]S.N. ALBIN around, (S.296, Cr.372/1, Syd.745, B.Postumia 7). Serrated edge, off centred obverse, otherwise good very fine and scarce.
