VALERIAN I, (A.D. 253-260), silver antoninianus, Antioch Mint, issued 254, (3.51 g), obv. radiate bust right, around IMP C P LIC VALERIANUS AVG, rev. PM TR P II COS PP around, Emperor standing left sacrificing at altar, holding baton or short sceptre, (S.9957, RIC 208, RSC 159a). Good very fine some mint bloom, areas of hoard adherence, very scarce type from this mint.
