HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 118, Rome Mint, (3.20 g), obv. laureate head to right of Hadrian, around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, rev. Mars, naked except for cloak around waist, advancing right, holding spear and trophy, around P M TR P COS III, (S.3516, BMC 112, RIC 67, C.1073). Surface pitting, has been cleaned, otherwise good very fine or better.
