MACEDON, Akanthus, silver obol, (early 5th century B.C.), (0.39 grams), obv. bull's head to right, dotted border, rev. four part incuse square of very archaic form, (S.-, SNG ANS 51, SNG Cop. 9-10). Dark tone, nearly very fine/very fine and rare.
