BRITISH CAVALRY SWORD, 1853 Pattern, steel blade approx length 81.5cm with single fuller, stamped on ricasso by maker, 'Rodwell & Co, London', metal guard stamped, 'N.S./BDA.' and also, '2.L./7. (possibly) 3', with leather handle, with leather scabbard with metal base, this stamped, '568 and 73', and metal top with belt fitting. All metal with some oxidation and blade with some dark areas, otherwise very good.
Note: Licence to own required in State of Victoria, Australia.
