George Henry Gibbs, tram conductor, age 28, born at Shoalhaven, NSW; Enl.17Aug1914 in 1 Pioneer Bn at Randwick, Sydney, NSW, with previous service in St George Rifles (5 years) and Aust Light Horse (4 months); to Cpl 22Aug1914; to Sgt 16Oct1914; Emb.18Oct1914; to Gallipoli 05Apr1915; to France 26Mar1916; KIA 13Nov1916, France; Buried at Bernafay Wood British Cemetery, near Montauban, France.
