Boatswains Mate Richard Puckey was awarded the LS&GC Medal 24Jun1870. HMS Galatea visited Australia in 1867-1868 bringing HRH Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh and visited Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney (twice) and Brisbane.
