ANGLO-GALLIC, Edward III (1327-1377), silver gros a la port, with ducal title, empty gateway below chatel, Bordeaux mint, obv. short cross pattee within inner circle, plain in each angles, ED REX A* NGLIE, obv. chatel with three annulets below, DVX AQITA*NIE, (Elias 63e). Out of round, needs cleaning, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
