IRELAND, Hiberno-Norse issue penny, Phase VI, c.1095-1110, obv. crude bust to left, blundered legend, crozier to left before head, rev. long cross type with sceptres and pellets in alternate angles, (S.6187, cf.SCBI Ulster 366-393, cf.SCBI BM [1966], Nos.232-249, cf.SCBI Copenhagen 282-305, cf.Spink 'Viking' Sale March 14, 2001 lot 1147). Good very fine and very rare.
