ITALY, Calabria, Taras, (235-228 B.C.), silver stater, (6.45 g), obv. naked boy horseman on stationary horse to right, below **FILO KLHC in two lines, dolphin below to right, monograms to left and right in field, rev. Taras astride a dolphin to left, holding a rhyton and trident, to right two amphorae, **[TA] PAS below, (cf.S.374, Vl.954, SNG ANS 1255 same dies). Extremely fine.
