GROUP OF FOUR: Australian Active Service Medal 1975 -, - clasp - ICAT; Afghanistan Medal; Australian Defence Medal; NATO Service Medal, - clasp - ISAF. 8540895 J A Palmer on first three medals, the last medal unnamed as issued. Court mounted, the first medal with the incorrect ribbon, spotty toning, otherwise nearly uncirculated.
J.A.Palmer was a member of 16 Air Land Regt. He served in Afghanistan on OP Slipper as Counter Rocket, Artillery and Mortar (CRAM). He was on the first ever Australian contingent of CRAM which had a 100% success rate during his 9 months service with the unit.
