James Adam Paterson, insurance clerk, age 20, born at Melbourne, Vic; (WWI) Enl.09Sep1916 at Melbourne, Vic, with 2 years in Senior Cadets and still serving in CMF; to Driver with 1 DAC 23Nov1916; Emb.23Nov1916; to France with AAVC 16May1917; TOS Aust Vet Hosp 17May1917; various postings and also accidentally injured ankle; RTA & Disemb.18Aug1919; Disch.25Sep1919. (WWII) Enl.01Oct1939, at Melbourne, Vic, now a company director, aged 45; various home postings; Disch.16May1944 as WOII ex S.A.A.J.L. School.
