GROUP OF FOUR TO WIA: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. 12622 Pte J.T.Holland 11 F.Amb. A.I.F. on first two medals, S293 J.T.Holland on last two medals. All medals impressed. Display mounted, very fine - good extremely fine.

Joseph Terence Holland, gardener, age 18, born at Magill, Sth Aust; (WWI) Enl.17Jan1916 at Adelaide, Sth Aust in 11F. Amb, with 12 months previous service in Senior Cadets; Emb.30Jun1916; TOS 11F. Amb 24Aug1916; to France 26Nov1916; to hospital in London 17Apr1917; TOS AAMC 19Jul1917; to France 17Nov1917; WIA 26May1918 gassed, France; RTA 05Jul1919; Disch.02Oct1919.
(WWII) now an insurance inspector, age 43; Enl.20Jul1940 at Wayville, Sth Aust; served full-time in CMF, no overseas service; Disch.12Dec1946 as Warrant Officer Class 1 ex 105 (Adelaide) Mil. Hospital.
