Joseph Flynn, labourer, age 26, born at Camperdown, Sydney, NSW; Enl.04Jan1915, allocated Service No.1483 changed to 1557, at Melbourne, Vic, in 2Rfts 14Bn; Emb.02Feb1915; to Dardanelles and hospitalised with debility and rheumatism 07Jul1915; RTA 15Aug1915; Disch.25Jul1916 Medically Unfit; Re-Enl.06May1918 in Naval & Military Expeditionary Force, allocated Service No.1378; Emb.13Jun1918 to Rabaul; RTA 17Oct1918; Disch.28Oct1918 as 'not likely to become an efficient soldier'; Died of pneumonia 14Jul1919 and is buried at Burwood Cemetery, Burwood, Victoria.
