TRIO: 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. O.N.2648 J.W.Christian. Stoker. On first medal, 2648 J.W.Christian. Ldg. Sto. R.A.N. on last two medals. All medals impressed. Display mounted, heavy contact marks on second medal, otherwise fine - very fine.
Together with a matching set of miniature medals; The Royal Life Saving Society Bronze Medallion (type 1), reverse inscribed, 'J.W.Christian/V.H.C./Dec 1914.'.
Jack William Christian, born 19Aug1894 at Leichhardt, Sydney, NSW; Enl.13Feb1913; to Stoker 24Jul1917; to Leading Stoker 12Oct1917; served on various ships including Yarra, Melbourne and Australia; Demobilized 30Aug1919; Died 08Dec1949.
