VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 73, (3.420 grams), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAESAR VESP AVG CENS, rev. Vespasian seated to right holding branch and sceptre, PONTIF MAXIM around, (S.2304 [£85 VF], RIC 64, RSC 385). Very fine and scarce.
