CONSTANTINE VII PORPHYROGENITUS WITH ZOE, (913-959), AE follis, Constantinople, mint, (4.98 g), obv. + COSTAhT CE ZOH, crowned facing busts of Constantine and Zoe, holding patriarchal cross between, rev. + COhS / TAhTIh0 / CE ZOH bA / SILIS RO / MEOh, a legend in five lines, (S.1758, DOC 22, R.1883-4, BMC 1-6, BN 1-24). Delightful red-brown patination, about as struck, extremely fine or better, very rare in this condition.
