DIOCLETIAN, (A.D. 284-305), antoninianus, Lyon Mint, issued 290-3, (3.99 g), obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust to right, around IMP DIOCLETIANVS AVG, rev. Pax standing left, holding Victory on globe and sceptre, around PAX AVGG, B in exergue, (cf.S.12687, RIC 67). Attractively toned, extremely fine of superb style.
