PHILIP I, (A.D. 244-249), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued 248, (18.81 g), obv. laureate bust to right seen from back, around IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG, rev. Emperor Philip on horseback to left, raising right hand, around ADVENTVS AVGG, S C in exergue, (S.8986, RIC 165, C.6). Even dark green patina, well centred, good very fine/extremely fine and scarce.
