BALBINUS, (238 A.D.), silver denarius, (2.72 g), obv. IMP CD CAEL BALBINVS AVG, laureate draped and cuirassed bust to right of Balbinus, rev. VICTORIA AVGG, Victory standing facing, head left, holding wreath and palm. (S.8491, RIC IV 8; RSC 27, BMC 37). Toned, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
