MAXIMINUS I, (A.D. 235-238), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.03 g), issued April - Dec 235, obv. IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right of Maximinus, rev. P M TR P P P, Maximinus to left between two military standards holding a spear, (S.8311, RIC 1, RSC 46). Toned, extremely fine, scarce.
