SEVERUS ALEXANDER, (A.D.222-235), silver denarius, issued 225, Rome mint, (3.64 g), obv. laureate bust to right, draped and cuirassed, around IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG, rev. FIDES MILITVM, Fides Militum standing to left, holding standard in each hand, (S.7864, RIC 139, RSC 52). Lightly toned, good extremely fine with mint bloom.
