GETA, (A.D.209-212), issued as Caesar 199, silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.64 g), obv. P SEPT GETA CAES PONT, bare-headed bust draped to right, rev. around NOBILITAS, Nobilitas standing frontal, head to right, holding sceptre and palladium, (S.7184, BMC 223-7, RIC 13a, RSC 90). Extremely fine and scarce with a delightful golden blue patination.

Ex Baldwin's London, privately purchased October 7, 1987.
