FAUSTINA JUNIOR, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (d.A.D. 175), AE sestertius, (23.13 g), obv. FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, diademed and draped bust to right, rev. SALVTI AVGVSTAE, SC in exergue, Salus seated to left, feeding a snake arising from altar, (S.5283, C.200, RIC 1668). Light brown patina, well and evenly struck very fine, scarce.
