MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 175, (3.54 g), obv. laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG GERM SARM, rev. around SECVRIT PVB TR P XXX IMP VIII COS III, Securitas seated on throne to left, holding sceptre, (cf.S.4928, RIC 348, RSC 588). Lightly toned, good very fine and scarce.
