MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 162, (3.36 g), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around IMP M AVREL ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around CONCORD AVG TR P XVI, COS III, Concordia seated to left, holding patera, resting on statuette of Spes, cornucopiae below seat, (S.4882, BMC 185, RIC 35, RSC 36a). Lightly toned, extremely fine/nearly extremely fine, scarce.
