ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), AE as, (10.69 g), Rome mint, issued A.D. 160-1, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P, rev. around TR POT XXIIII COS IIII, Aeternitas, standing left holding a caduceus and a phoenix on globe, S C across field, (S.4321, RIC 1051, C.1054). Dark brown patination, nearly extremely fine/good very fine and scarce.
