GULF OF CARPENTARIA, Normanton, one pound, No.A 1919, issues by Burns, Philp, imprint of Charles Troedel & Co. Sydney and Melbourne, impressed oval Queensland one penny duty stamp, signed (per) James Burns, undated, issued circa 1880, only 1000 notes issued. Very rare only a few issued notes known. Several heavy folds and two small central holes otherwise very good.
