MANUEL II PALAEOLOGUS, (A.D. 1391-1423), Constantinople, Public mint, silver half stavrata or quarter hyperpyron, (3.23 g), with B C either side of the bust of Manuel II, (S.2551, Bendall 243.9 [sigla 75], Gr.1517, LPC 2). Very fine, a rare variety.
