BYZANTINE, silver miliaresion of Nicephorus Phocas, (963-969), silver miliaresion (2.61 g), Constantinople mint, obv. cross-crosslet set on globus above two steps, in central medallion, crowned bust of Nicephorus facing, rev. text in five lines, - + - above and below, (S. 1781, DOC 6, BMC 6-7) (illustrated) slightly crinkled otherwise fine; together with assorted AE issues (mostly folles) in mostly poor - fine condition, includes Anastasius (7), Justin I (11, one illustrated); Justinian I (5, one holed), smaller fractions (3). Poor - fine. (27)
