Leo VI the Wise, (A.D. 886-912), AE folles, Constantinople mint, (7.03 g), obv. Leo VI bust facing, around +LEON bASILEVS ROM', rev. legend in four lines +LEON/EN **W*EO bA/SILEVS R/OMEON in four lines, (S.1729, DOC 8, BMC 8-10, R.1873); Romanus I, (A.D. 920-944), AE folles, Constantinople mint, (4.03 g), obv.
