CLAUDIUS II GOTHICUS, (A.D. 268-270), silver antoninianus, Antioch Mint, first emission, second phase, late 268-early 269, (3.38 g), obv. IMC C CLAVDIVS AVG, radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. Mercury standing left, holding purse and caduceus, FIDES AVG, Z in exergue, (S.11333, RIC 207, Hunter 75); together with another similar, Antioch Mint, 268-269, (3.59 g), obv. as above, rev. Serapis standing facing head to left, raising right hand and holding sceptre, **G* in exergue, (S.11323, RIC 201, Hunter 74). Both extremely fine with good silvering. (2)
