POSTUMUS, (A.D. 259-268), AE double sestertius, Trier Mint, (16.73 g), obv. laureate bust of Postumus to right, around IMP CM CASS LAT POSTVM[VS P F] AVG, rev. Victory advancing left, holding wreath in extended right hand, and cradling palm frond in left arm, to left, captive seated left, VICTORIA A[VG] around, (cf.S.11065, RIC 169, C.380). Deep toning, possible countermarks, struck unuvenly, very fine and scarce.
