IOVI CONSERVATORI, Gallienus in military attire resting on spear receiving globe from Jupiter resting on sceptre, wreath above, (S.10242, RIC 440, RSC 378) (illustrated); Valerian I, (A.D. 253-260), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, (3.42 g), obv. radiate cuirassed bust right, around IMP VALERIANUS P AVG, rev. PAX AVGG around, Pax standing left holding branch and transverse sceptre, (cf.S.9954, RIC 245, RSC 147); another similar, (3.97 g), Antioch mint, obv. radiate bust right, around IMP C P LIC VALERIANUS AVG, rev. ROMAE AETERNAE around, Roma seated to left holding Victory and spear, (S.9970, RIC 120, RSC 192); another uncertain Syrian mint (3.37 g), similar obv., rev.
