JULIA MAMAEA, mother of Severus Alexander, (A.D.222-235), AE as, issued 230, Rome mint, (14.94 g), obv. diademed and draped bust to right of Julia Mamaea, IVLIA MAMA EA AVGVSTA, rev. FELICITAS PVBLICA, SC in exergue, Felicitas seated to left, holding caduceus and cornucopiae, (S.8244, RIC 680, C.27). Brown patina, well centred, extremely fine and very scarce.
