MACRINUS, (A.D. 217-218), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.16 g), issued A.D. 217, obv. bearded Macrinus laureate cuirassed bust to right, around IMP C M OPEL SEV MACRINVS AVG. rev. Fides Militum standing left between four standards, holding two in each hand, around VOTA PVBL P M TR P, (S.7370, RIC 8, RSC 144). Toned, good very fine, scarce.
