CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 209, Rome mint, (2.80 g), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. Liberalitas standing half-left, holding abacus and cornucopiae, around LIBERALITAS AVG VI, (S.6815, RIC 158, RSC 128); another (2.76 g), Rome mint, issued A.D.214, obv. laureate head of Caracalla to right, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, rev. around PM TR P XVII COS IIII P P, Apollo seated to left, holding branch and leaning on lyre, (S.6832, RIC 238a, RSC 242). Very fine or better. (2)
