CLODIUS ALBINUS, as Augustus, (A.D. 193-197), silver denarius, issued 196-197 A.D., Lugdunum mint, (3.16 g), obv. laureate head to right of Clodius Albinus, around IMP CAES D CLO SEP ALB AVG, dotted border, rev. AEQVITAS AVG COS II around, Aequitas standing to left holding scales and cornucopiae, (cf.S.6161, RIC 13a, RSC 1, BMC 280). Toned, extremely fine and rare.
