NERVA, (A.D. 96-98), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 97, (2.85 g), obv. laureate head of Nerva to right, around IMP NERVA CAES AVG P M TR POT, rev. around COS III PATER PATRIAE, priestly implements, lituus, simpulum, aspergillum and jug, (S.3023, RIC 24, RSC 48, BMC 33). Lightly toned, good very fine and very scarce.
